Stock index futures signal higher Wall Street open
Stock index futures pointed to a higher open on Wall Street on Friday after losses in the previous session, with futures for the S&P 500, the Dow Jones and the Nasdaq 100 rising 0.3 to 0.4 percent. U.S. employment probably only inched up in July as the economy struggled to regain momentum, strengthening expectations of additional monetary stimulus from the Federal Reserve.
